Generational difference of sour

Generational difference of sour

Isn't it funny how the word sour is typically associated with a flexible, weirdly cognitive reaction like a grimace or disapproval?

Like really, think about it! If I were to say to you "Hey, you have a sour face!..." what would your thoughts be? For me, it would mean that things are not looking good for you or that you are not having a good day. Or what if I were to say that "The food is sour!..." then what could mean something else altogether...

But it's not the same with you; when you think of sour, it brings memories and makes you think of Warheads, or you think of your daily dose of endorphins, or you remember 'grandma sneaking you a candy'... or might I add sour to your favorite flavor.

Fun fact: sour candies actually help to salivate your mouth, which helps with swallowing.

So for today, have a good day and a big, big bite of your favorite flavor of sour.

Hint: green pack Skittles.
